Into The Wow

Like the beginning of the video says, this is a compilation of time lapses shot over the course of a road trip I did in the USA. Going through Nevada, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico, in Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National park, Canyonlands National Park (horseshoe canyon), Monument Valley, The Very Large Array and Whites Sands National Monument.

Some shots are video footage sped up, but most of them are from stills. Sometimes the wind would push and pull on the filter attached to the lens and destabilized the shots, but gave it its raw feeling too I think.

I had no idea what to expect going into this trip, and came back home as if I had made a trip to an other planet. It was amazing. You can read a daily blog about it there:

Motiongraphy is now in my vocabulary. Motiongraphy is photography, in motion. I just love this piece, and related to the music, I can't wait to see the Passion of the Christ in BluRay coming up.
