The video are recorded as H264 in stereo. Quite different from AVCHD, but almost more practicle as they don't need to be converted for editing, unless you can't stand the slow process (heavy on processors). I still have to try to edit in XDCAM format as some people have tried. As per the quality, it is outstanding. I am thinking going "pro" on vimeo, it seems to make a big difference in quality on encoding to Flash on their end too. I just wish I had time to take pictures during the day too.
